Residential & Respite Care

Residential Care Services

Our staff are equipped with the latest technology enabling them to view and update care records instantly; allowing them to devote more of their time to listen and respond to residents' needs. Our friendly, well-trained staff understand that every individual has different needs, therefore we take the extra time to get to know everyone's likes, dislikes, passions and hobbies. In doing this we can support and care for individuals in the best and most comfortable way. We are also able to accommodate those looking for short-term, respite stays (subject to availability).
Dementia Care

Dementia Care

Living with dementia can be a very difficult and lonely experience; our home provides the care and support needed to ensure it doesn't have to be that way. All staff undergo a training course to provide them with insight into the various forms of dementia and the complexities that can sometimes go along with it. Residents living with dementia receive the patience, empathy and dignity they require in order to sustain their overall well-being.
Respite care at 62

Respite Care

Halcyon Care Homes offer short-term respite stays for older people who might not want or need to move in permanently, yet who need some extra help from time to time. Whether they are recovering from surgery or illness, or want to give their family carer a break, short stays can be organised and then repeated as often as they are required.
Any resident on a short break can take part in all daily activities and will receive the same high quality of care that full-time residents enjoy. A short break can also be an opportunity to trial the wonderful facilities we have on offer before deciding to make the move permanent.
