We can confirm that summer has definitely arrived. The sun is shining, and we are making the most of it. This week has seen a bit of a heat wave across the UK, and we have taken the opportunity to indulge in a spot of al fresco dining.

There is something about outdoor dining that is reminiscent of holidays abroad; the sun on our faces, the chirping of the crickets and the birdsong all combine to create a wonderful holiday atmosphere.

We were excited to set up our outdoor dining area, we all joined in arranging tables and putting up umbrellas, it looked beautiful.

The chef, as usual did an excellent job with the menu and the team were fabulous. Serving our meals and pouring the wine, it really did feel as if we had arrived at an intimate Mediterranean restaurant.

The conversation flowed, everyone was in such good spirits, we ate, we drank, and we laughed and when we had had our fill of good food and sunshine, we were able to head inside to continue our conversations in the comfort of our air-conditioned lounge.

We have no idea how long this glorious weather will last, it could be months, it could be days but for however long it lasts we will make the most of every minute of it.
