This week we have had the pleasure of meeting Corey. Corey is the son of our lifestyle manager Steve, and he chose to come along and spend some time with us at Kingfisher Court as part of his work experience week at school.
We have had a whale of a time hearing all about Corey’s school and his favourite lessons, his plans for the future. We have told him all about our school days and we have made comparisons, it is astounding just how much has changed over the years.
We have played dominoes, bowls, and skittles, we have been out into the garden when possible and we have showed off our wonderful home.
Corey has even attempted to call the bingo, he did very well and found the idea of the language of bingo hilarious, he found us quacking every time he said two little ducks particularly funny.
Our lifestyle manager is so good at his job, he has a natural understanding of people, and he makes life here a lot of fun. Nothing is ever too much for him and he is always smiling, and it would seem that the apple did not fall far from the tree. Corey has been a joy to have around, we’ll miss him.
