What a fabulous week we’ve had! Parties, fireworks, crafting, birthday celebrations and then the icing on the cake was the return of Natalie and her glorious singing.
There is nothing that raises the spirits quite like a good old singalong. Music is so emotive, it can transport you to another place, another time; it stirs up memories and creates comfort.
We always have music playing around the home, it makes the place so homely. We enjoy dancing and singing along but there’s nothing quite like the sound of our choir.
We have missed Natalie; over the last year she has not been able to visit due to the restrictions. We have continued to sing but it’s not quite the same without her. Natalie’s enthusiasm is infectious, she turns a singalong into a party, and we’ve missed that.
We were so delighted to have her back, there was such a buzz in the room, it really was a great morning. We sang our hearts out.
And now that the festive season is almost upon us, we are looking forward to regular choir practices complete with Christmas carols and hot chocolate.
