Can you imagine the excitement that swept around Kingfisher Court the day we were informed that an incredibly special new friend would be taking up residence here?

We were intrigued as to who this new resident would be, we are always so happy when new people move in, we get together to welcome them, and we help them settle into our wonderful family.

All we knew about our new resident was that his name is Rodney. What were they hiding? We gathered in the lounge to meet Rodney, watching the door for his imminent arrival when all of a sudden in hops a bunny. A fluffy bunny. He bounded happily around the lounge, very content to stop sporadically to be stroked.

“Meet Rodney” laughed our home manager and we simultaneously squealed with excitement.

Rodney is the tamest, friendliest rabbit I’ve met, he is a dream to have around. He gets extremely excited when one of us approaches his run and he bounds toward the fence for a cuddle.

Rodney spends a lot of time inside Kingfisher Court, dozing on a comfortable lap or exploring his surroundings. If you watch the videos on our Facebook page closely you just might catch a glimpse of him as he tries to get in on the action.

We have had some wonderful animals visit us here at Kingfisher and they really lift the spirits, Rodney does the same, but Rodney isn’t a visitor, Rodney is ours and we are extremely happy about that.
